Linen is an eco-friendly plant fibre: its cultivation requires no irrigation, no GMOs, and no harmful chemicals, unlike most cotton crops. It is grown in the fields of Normandy, then processed entirely mechanically, from combing to weaving. Our linen is Oeko-Tex certified, guaranteeing that every fabric in contact with your skin is safe, both for you and the environment.
Unlike a standard bed base cover in cotton, light gauze, or synthetic microfibre found at most bedding retailers, Embrin’s washed linen offers a completely different quality of fabric, more durable and more environmentally friendly. Linen is also much more breathable than satin, a material that tends to retain more heat and moisture.
