All our linen tablecloths are square or rectangular. If your table is round, why not try a square tablecloth? It offers a modern, deconstructed look that is sure to stand out! If you wish, you can also opt for made-to-measure dimensions and a variety of colours.
With a weight of 200 g/m², our linen tablecloths stay perfectly in place, whatever their size. For the finishing touches, they feature neatly stitched hems and mitred corners on all four sides. Each one is crafted with the utmost care!
Linen: a strong, resilient fibre
Linen is the ideal material for a tablecloth: it is one of the rare natural fibres that becomes even stronger when wet. So you needn’t worry about accidental spills! Linen can also absorb up to 20% of its weight in water, protecting your table from moisture. Finally, linen fibres are very easy to clean and do not hold onto stains.
Linen fibres are among the strongest in the plant kingdom. They do not lose their shape or appearance over time. In fact, linen develops a beautiful patina and becomes softer with age! The fibres are also heat resistant, offering further protection for your table.
These fibres are so resilient because our linen tablecloths are made using traditional methods, with great attention to detail. We select only the finest raw materials and transform them with care, resulting in a high-quality product designed to accompany your meals for many years to come!
An easy-care tablecloth
Contrary to popular belief, linen is very easy to care for. It can be machine washed at 40°C with a gentle spin. There’s no need to take your tablecloth to the dry cleaner! It can even be tumble dried on a very gentle setting, though it’s best to let it air dry.
You can iron your linen tablecloth for a smooth, flat finish. However, this is entirely optional! If you prefer, simply let your tablecloth dry and place it on your table as it is. In this case, it will have a subtle “crumpled” effect that adds a touch of charm and authenticity to your table.
An eco-friendly material
The linen used for these tablecloths is grown in the fields of Normandy. The product itself is made in France. Your linen tablecloth hasn’t travelled around the world before arriving at your table!
What’s more, linen requires very little water or fertiliser. It grows happily on its own, without any chemicals! No waste is produced either, as every part of the plant is used during processing.
Finally, this tablecloth is sustainable in every sense. It is highly durable, so you won’t need to replace it every year! This helps you reduce resource waste. And if your tablecloth does eventually wear out, linen is a biodegradable fibre!
