Similarly, they require very little fertiliser, as the soil’s natural resources are usually enough. A mild, temperate spring is all it needs to thrive in the best conditions!
The making of our washed linen flat sheets produces very little waste! Every part of the plant is used, from the fibres to the so-called “anas” offcuts. The plant is processed using a mechanical method to make the fabric, unlike most other materials which require chemical treatment.
Thanks to this eco-friendly and nature-respecting process, our linen sheets (and our bed linen in general) have been awarded the Oeko-Tex certification, a label recognising products that are safe for their users.
