How to personalise your sofa?
Creating your made-to-measure linen sofa with Embrin is wonderfully simple! Just follow the little arrows, step by step, and select the features, dimensions, and colours you prefer, until you have a fully personalised linen sofa.
Before you begin, don’t forget to note the precise dimensions of your available space, so you don’t end up with a sofa that’s far too large or, conversely, too small for your room. Our made-to-measure linen sofas
We offer two bases to personalise your made-to-measure linen sofa: our Alizée and Aramis models. Each is crafted by hand in a French workshop, following traditional expertise and using exceptionally high-quality linen. They feature a solid beech frame that is both robust and durable, as well as a fully removable seat in high-resilience foam. All these elements come with a 7-year guarantee to ensure lasting comfort!
Our Alizée sofa has no legs; it sits directly on the floor on a solid and elegant frame. Its timeless style allows it to blend beautifully with any interior décor. The seat is filled with high-resilience foam wrapped in a contact wadding: it’s wonderfully comfortable and will provide you with many years of relaxation. The cushions are filled with feathers and siliconised hollow fibres.
The Aramis model stands on legs with a refined, timeless design. The seat is made from a high-resilience foam mattress topped with a duvet of feathers and siliconised hollow fibres. Pure comfort at its finest! The same material is used for the cushions, just as with the Alizée sofa.
Why choose a linen sofa?
Both our Aramis and Alizée sofas are made from washed linen. This fabric is extremely hard-wearing: not only does it stand the test of time while retaining its beauty, but it is also stain-resistant! Our linen is woven very densely, so it doesn’t wear out and doesn’t allow stains to penetrate the fabric. It’s ideal if you have young children!
Washed linen is also a very soft fabric. The more you wash it, the softer and more pleasant to the touch it becomes. It is naturally hypoallergenic and antibacterial, and also Oeko-Tex certified! This linen sofa cares for even the most sensitive skin, while offering you all the softness and comfort you deserve.
Do you love nature and care deeply about ecology? Linen is the fabric for you: it grows naturally in the fields of Normandy, requiring little water or fertiliser. The long fibres are used to make our linen sofas, but nothing goes to waste: the rest is used to make furniture, composite materials, or animal bedding. This wonderful plant produces almost no waste!
Finally, linen is a fantastic thermoregulator that can absorb up to 20% of its weight in moisture: it’s perfect for cool, dry naps in summer, or for keeping warm in winter when temperatures drop. Truly, washed linen is a remarkable fabric!
