The Linen and Artistic Fibre Festival
Seine Maritime is the leading flax-producing département in Europe, a distinction of which we are justly proud! In the region, the Alliance & Culture association is responsible for promoting flax cultivation as well as the cultural and artistic heritage surrounding this remarkable plant. Each year, at the beginning of July, it organises its flagship event: The Flax and Artistic Fibre Festival.
On the programme: fashion shows, introductory workshops in embroidery and lace-making, lectures on flax, a solidarity flax fair, and much more.
Embrin takes part in this wonderful festival every year, which takes place on the first weekend of July:
- Come and discover the breadth of our collection: bed sets, our honeycomb bath towels, and of course our range of table linen—tablecloths, napkins, tea towels—all made from 100% Normandy flax!
- Feel free to ask us your questions about flax growing and scutching
